You're Not Scattered Spaghetti. You're a Venn Diagram.
For years I described what I do and watched people's eyes glaze over in real time.
Legal. Sales. Team. Systems. Infrastructure. Business strategy. Contracts. Kajabi.
I'd try to explain the thread connecting all of it and end up fumbling through some version of "well, it all goes together, I promise." I called it scattered spaghetti. Threw things at the wall. Hoped something stuck.
I was wrong about the spaghetti. I wasn't scattered. I was a Venn diagram — I just hadn't figured out how to say it yet.
What Season Two Is Actually About
I'm launching Season Two of North Pole to New York City: Straight Line Sales, and the timing wasn't arbitrary. The second edition of Easy as PB&J came out, which triggered Season Two of Scenic Route, which made it obvious: this is the season for version two of all the things.
But more than a number, Season Two has a shape. Three themes are going to run through everything we cover:
Containers. Runway evolution. Venn-Me-ing.
Let me take you through each one.
Containers Are Changing (And That's Good News)
A container is how you package and deliver your content. A blog post is a container. A podcast episode is a container. A PDF, a YouTube video, a private podcast, a Kajabi page — all containers.
What's changing is the functionality available inside those containers, and how AI is expanding what we can do with them.
Here's a concrete example. If you go to tamsenhorton.com and look for a blog, you won't find one. But click on Portfolio and there it is.
I didn't change the URL slug. I'm not going to — too many links carry /blog for me to mess with it now. But the label changed, and more importantly, the framing changed. A blog felt archaic for what I'm actually doing. A portfolio tells the right story. Same container, same URL, completely different experience for the person landing there.
That's the kind of container thinking we're going to be doing in Season Two. Not "what platform do I use?" but "what function do I actually need, and am I calling it what it is?"
Private Podcasting Is the Next QR Code
Here's my prediction, and I'm standing by it: private podcasting is about to become as ubiquitous as QR codes did during and after the pandemic.
Remember when QR codes existed for years before the pandemic, and then suddenly every restaurant had one on every table and everyone knew how to use them? That adoption curve, compressed into about eighteen months.
Private podcasting is on the same trajectory. The container is incredibly powerful — audio on demand, behind a paywall or a product, accessible anywhere. The tools to produce it are better than ever. And the audience's familiarity with on-demand audio is higher than it's ever been.
If you're not thinking about a private podcast as a container for your content, your offer, or your onboarding experience — start thinking about it now.
One Address. Accumulated Internet Digi Goodwill.
Here's something I want you to think about: I run several different things. NP2NYC. PBK. Scenic Route. Tamsification. A YouTube series on hockey contracts that's launching soon. Legal content. Sales content. Team and systems content.
All of it lives at one Kajabi site. One address: tamsenhorton.com.
That is not accidental. AI likes this. SEO likes this. When you consistently show up from the same address, even doing many different things, you accumulate what I'm calling internet digi goodwill — a kind of institutional memory that the internet builds about you over time.
Every day, new content is entering the internet. New people with new platforms, new websites, new social profiles. But you've been here. You've been at the same address. That accrual matters, especially now that AI-assisted search is pulling from everything.
The scattered approach — a blog here, a podcast somewhere else, a landing page on a different domain, a course on another platform — forfeits that goodwill every time you fragment it. One site. One address. Accumulate.
You Might Be a Venn Diagram
This is the one that cracked everything open for me.
I am obsessed with infrastructure. Legal infrastructure, sales infrastructure, team infrastructure. Those three circles overlap each other completely, and sitting right at the center of all of them — that's me.
What I've started calling it is Venn-Me-ing: V-E-N-N for Venn, me because you are the one at the center, and -ing for everything you're doing — marketing, selling, sharing, guiding, teaching, coaching, creating.
When I finally articulated my Venn diagram, the scattered spaghetti feeling went away. Because it was never scattered. It was always connected. I just didn't have the language for the connections.
Here's why this matters specifically in Season Two: AI really, really likes Venn diagrams.
When you can clearly articulate who you are and where your circles overlap, AI can surface you in more searches, for more audiences, in more contexts. Someone looking for hockey contract advice might land on my YouTube channel. A hockey mom who finds those videos might follow a thread over to NP2NYC. A PBK member might share something about Scenic Route with a friend who's never heard of me before.
None of those entry points conflict. They all converge on one address. They all reinforce the same Venn diagram.
If you've felt like scattered spaghetti — like your interests don't hang together, like you can't explain what you do without losing people — it might be worth asking whether you're actually a Venn diagram waiting to be articulated.
The Core Runway Hasn't Moved
Here's what hasn't changed, and I want to be clear about this: the North Pole to New York City framework is exactly what it's always been.
Read magnet → lead magnet → intro offer → New York City → keep flying.
That doesn't move. It doesn't need to. What Season Two is doing is showing you how containers, runway evolution, and Venn-Me-ing layer on top of that core framework to make it more powerful, more discoverable, and more aligned with how people are actually finding things now.
AI can amplify your runway. But it amplifies what's already there. Crystal clarity going in — crystal clarity coming out. Ambiguity going in — amplified ambiguity coming out.
Get clear on your runway first. Then let AI do what it does.
A Note on Discovery
We've gone way beyond Google search. People are finding answers through ChatGPT. Through Perplexity. Through AI-assisted search that's pulling from everywhere at once.
This is not a threat to those of us who have been consistently building in one place. It's an amplifier.
When you're a clear Venn diagram, living at one address, producing content that connects to your runways — AI has everything it needs to surface you accurately. For the right people. In the right context. Through channels that didn't even exist a year ago.
Season Two is about making sure your runway is ready for that.
Buckle in. Or put your seat back in the most relaxed position. Either way, we're going somewhere good.
