The $4,380,000 Question

$4,380,000.

That is what my time is worth every year. I didn't pull that number out of thin air, and I'm not sharing it to impress you. I'm sharing it because the first time I did the math, I stepped back from my desk and said, out loud, "Whoa."

That moment is where I want you to start.

Most of us treat time like background noise. It's just there, getting spent, filling up with whatever shows up next. We guard our money carefully and hand out our hours to anyone who asks. And then we wonder why we feel overworked, overwhelmed and a little bit trapped by the business we built to give us freedom.

So here's what I did, and what I want you to do.

I asked myself one question: what is my time worth an hour? Not what I charge. Not what feels polite. What it's actually worth. I picked a number that felt good, the kind where you exhale and think, "Yes, okay, that's right."

Then I added 20%.

That extra 20% is where a little hesitation shows up. Let it. Pick the number anyway.

For me, that landed at $500 an hour. Multiply that by 24 hours in a day and you get $12,000. Multiply that by 365 days and you get $4,380,000.

Why 24 hours and not eight? Because the way I build a business, every system, every automation, every person on my team, is designed so the business works for me around the clock. Not so I work around the clock. That's a very different thing.

When you see what your time is actually worth, every decision about how you spend it starts to look different.

Suddenly the hour you spent wrestling with a tool you hate has a price tag. The task you keep doing yourself because "it's faster" has a price tag. And the structure you've been avoiding, the systems and processes that sound so rigid, stops looking like a cage. It starts looking like support. Like something that lets you grow, and fly, and go places you didn't know were possible.

That's what Tamsefikation is about. Ease. Peace. Freedom. And more white space in your life and business than you know what to do with. It starts right here, with one number.

So pick yours. Add 20%. Do the math out to a year. Then sit with it. Was it scary? Exhilarating? Both?

And know this: your number should change. Mine will too. That's exactly how it should be.

In the first episode of Tamsefikation the Podcast, I walk you through this step by step, and why it changes everything that comes after. It's a private podcast, so it's just you and me, in your ears whenever you need it.
