  • You must know your NP2NYC so that you know how and where you are using your free book. 
  • Do I have to use a free book? No. While we used a free book for purposes of starting this discussion, you could use this for anything you can download or link to as you'll see we talked about the free product strategy in quite detail. 
  • What is your North Pole (read magnet)?
  • What is your Lead Magnet? If the book is free, then it's a lead magnet. If you are charging anything then it's your intro offer and not a lead magnet. 
  • What is your Intro Offer?
  • What is your NYC Offer? 

Step 2: Overview of the Free Product Strategy (FPS).

  • As you'll hear, I'm a HUGE fan of the FPS when it comes to lead magnets. 
  • I've yet to find a set of facts and circumstances where the FPS doesn't make sense.
